AMIN - Anak MindanaoAMIN is a Party characterized by Tri-people (Moro, Lumad, Filipino), multi-sectoral (peasants, youth, urban poor, professionals, labor, fisher folks, etc.), and multi-formation (POs, federations, Coops, NGOs and individuals), organized to respond to the growing sentiments of the Mindanao peoples in affecting positive change in the country, particularly in Mindanao, by engaging the electoral politics through the Party-List System (RA 7941) election.
This Platform of Government of AMIN is formulated based on the results and outcomes of the various consultations, researches, community-experiences, and recommendations of its members from different sectors and peoples. This might not be complete and appropriate in the point of view of others. But, it bears the simple dreams and long-held aspirations of the tri-peoples in Mindanao: the Moro, the Lumad, and the Filipino. OUR OBJECTIVES General Objectives: 1. To effect reforms in the electoral and form of governance in Mindanao and in the rest of the country, in general; 2. Promote genuine Peace and Sustainable Development (PSD) in the country, particularly in Mindanao; 3. To work for a Just and Humane Economic, Political and Cultural condition of all peoples, especially the marginalize sectors. Specific Objectives: 1. To work for the enhancement of the electoral system in the country by adapting the Party-List System to include the rest of the Congress. 2. Advance the issues and concerns of the Tri-people on: 1. Ancestral Domain Claim and Agrarian Reform for Food Security; 2. Home for the Homeless, home for the Aged, and; 3. Right to Self-Determination of all Peoples.
3. Develop a self-reliant Agricultural-Based Economy and adopt protectionist policies on export-import control. 4. Promote a scientific, people-oriented and nationalist system of education. 5. Promote the interest of migrant workers and their right to vote.
