The Majority Speaks
People pretending to be officials of AMIN have been using a stationery with a list of names of people who are allegedly officers elected during a supposed "4th Congress".

This stationery with the said list of officers, were used in the chain of letters sent to AMIN President Prof. Moy Edding, and signed by a certain Timuay Alim Bandara who claims to be AMIN President. This stationery was also used in a letter sent to the Speaker of the House of Representatives. This same stationery was again used in a latest "unsigned" Memorandum issued by a phantom "Office of the National Council 4th Congress of AMIN Party List." This cheap trick is obviously made in order to give a semblance of legitimacy to their pretensions, in vain effort to make the public believe that the persons whose names appear in this stationery agree with their spurious positions. However, the use of other people's names to claim legitimacy is now laid bare as just another poor attempt at trickery and deception.

On October 19, 2007, a majority of those whose names appear in this stationery as National Council officers elected by the so-called "4th Congress" have issued a resolution declaring the "4th Congress" illegal.

This resolution has been submitted to the Central Office of the Commission on Elections in Manila to refute the claim of certain individuals as to the legitimacy of the officers elected during the supposed "4th Congress". Their declaration states: " ...4th Anak Mindanao party-list Congress be declared as illegitimate, illegal, unconstitutional and void ab initio, and all outputs of the said Congress are 'fruits of the poisonous tree,' including the new set of officers of Anak Mindanao Party-List elected therein..." Furthermore, the resolution added the recognition of the officers under the leadership and Presidency of Prof.Moy Edding as the legitimate officials of AMIN Party list.

This resolution was signed by the following (with their names and supposed elective position during the alleged 4th Congress and as it appears on the stationery): Prof. Moy Edding, Chairman Emeritus, Datu Umawon George Quitoriano, Vice President for Lumad, Qussani M. Sultan, Vice President for Moro, and Council members, (for the Lumad Council)- Anita Amod, Ruben D. Mangan and Timuay Roque Bagor,Sr.; (for the Moro Council) - Ishaac Del Monte, Wahid Toto, Casim A. Tom; (for the Migrants) - Benedick Garde, Eugene Strong and Antonio Reyes, Jr.

Now that the Majority of the officers of the "4th Congress" has spoken,  what other tricks do these pretenders and detractors of AMIN have up their sleeve?
