Various organizations in Metro Manila showed their support to Rep. Mujiv Hataman who was implicated in the Batasan Blast by binding themselves into a Campaign body which they called as Pagkakaisa Laban sa Inhustisya or PAGLABAN.
This formation was initially composed of Alab Katipunan (AK), Anak Mindanao (AMIN) Party List, AKBAYAN Party List, Filipino Democratic Movement (FILDEM), Federation of Muslim Organizations in the Philippines (FEDMOP), UNYPAD and MORO HUMAN RIGHTS CENTER.
A similar group, the Muslims against Injustice and Violence was also formed expressing similar concerns. These organizations carried the call for Justice for All Victims of the Batasan Bombing and Justice for those who are unjustly charged with involvement to the bombing, like Rep. Mujiv Hataman.
PAGLABAN had already launched two picket rallies on separate occasions. First was on December 5, 2007, in front of the Gates of the House of Representatives in time for the CIDG's presentation of the result of their investigation to members of the Lower House.
The Second Picket Rally was held in front of the Department of Justice in Manila during the Preliminary Investigation of the Batasan Blast where Rep. Mujiv Hataman is implicated. On both occassions, PAGLABAN was able to mobilize a sizeable support for the cause of Justice. PAGLABAN will continue to mobilize for its campaign for justice.
In the meantime, various leaders and organizations in Major Muslim communities in Metro Manila are now tapped and mobilized in an effort to bring the Justice for All campaign to the grassroot communities.
