The Hataman-Dumarpa Anti-Discrimination Bill

Rep. Mujiv Hataman of AMIN Party List and Rep. Faysah RPM Dumarpa of Lanao del Sur had filed two different bills on anti-Discrimination. Their bills are now being consolidated into one. 

This consolidated bill is now on the process of being formulated and framed. We would like to hear your views about this bill and help contirbute to its construction by making your comments on its draft posted here.

AMIN Project Turnover 

projectturnover Anak Mindanao Representative Mujiv S. Hataman turned over a one million worth Multi-Purpose Hall to the Islamic Supreme Council of Ipil, located at the Bangkiruhan, Ipil, Sibugay Province.
  
 The Project turn-over cum Inauguration of the said Multi-Purpose Hall, held last January 20, 2008 was also attended by Sibugay PAHRO Musaril Daligdigan and Board Member Wilfredo Sanggayan, who also sits at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Sibugay as Representative of the Indigenous People of the province.

“Malaki ang aming pasasalamat sa Anak Mindanao, lalo na kay Congressman Mujiv Hataman sa pagtugon sa aming kahilingan na magkaroon ng Multi-Purpose Hall. Isa itong malaking tulong at simbolo ng pagpapahalaga para sa aming mga Lumad,” said Hon. Sanggayan.

AMIN joins Global Week of Action

In observance of the 2008 World Social Forum Global Week of action in the Philippines, a People’s Camp for Change or Kampo Para sa Pagbabago was held last January 25, 2008 at the Open Court of Purok 2, San Roque, Brgy. Bagong Pag-asa, North Triangle, Quezon City.

Carrying the theme “Onward with the Struggle : Jobs and Justice, Land and Freedom Now!” the Camp was packed with various Fora, Workshops, Film-Viewing and a concert by alternative Filipino artists.

The Stop the War Coalition, Anak Mindanao Party List and Pinay…Kilos! jointly sponsored a forum on US Troops and the War in Mindanao, with Herbert Docena and Cris Gaerlan as Speakers.
