COMELEC: Prof.Moy Edding legitimate AMIN President

AMIN MR

"Truth will out"  Yes, that's how it is. That's how it should be. Finding truth eventually is a phrase applicable not only to the present Philippine political situation but also to the situation of Anak Mindanao (AMIN) Party List in many instances.

An underground organization styling itself as Revolutionary and calling itself as the Rebolusyonaryong Partido ng Manggagawa sa Mindanao (RPMM) is laying claim over the AMIN organization and trying to grab the leadership of AMIN Party List through its minions inside the Party List organization. Their maneuvers are made by manipulating members, twisting facts, sowing disinformation, and launching smear campaign against legitimate leaders of AMIN, particularly against AMIN President, Prof. Moy Edding and elected AMIN Party List Representative to Congress, Rep. Mujiv Hataman.

After all pieces fell into place, these AMIN pretenders should now hang their heads in shame. That is if they got at least one of both - a head and shame.

First they boasted of having the majority of the leadership of AMIN. But that very same majority branded them as usurpers of authority and declared them illegal. Then they submitted a case to the House Ethics Committee in an obvious attempt to besmirch the name of AMIN's elected Representative and put him out of Congress. But again, this case was simply returned to sender by the House's Committee on Ethics for being deficient. Attempting further to discredit AMIN's representative, they blatantly twisted a readily available information and accused him as voting in favor of the Human Security Act even if the House's Journal about the voting of the Bill showed otherwise. Not contented in twisting facts they go as far as creating wild theories with the aim of implicating AMIN's Representative to Congress in the Batasan Blast. And again, just recently, the Department of Justice had dismissed the case against AMIN Rep. Mujiv Hataman on the Batasan Blast for insufficiency of evidence.

Stretching further their miserably poor and obviously torn and frayed imagination, these AMIN pretenders thought of making a coup de grâce by launching their own Special Congress. Because according to them their Special Congress will finally bequeath them their mandate, legitimacy and claim over Anak Mindanao (AMIN) Party List. But, did it?

To debunk annoying lies and fake claims made by the AMIN pretenders, and as per his request, AMIN President Prof. Mahmor "Moy" Edding, was issued a certification by the Law Department of the Commission on Elections' Central Office in Manila, certifying him as the "duly elected and legitimate President of Anak Mindanao (AMIN) Party List since 2004 to the present."

Given this certification issued by COMELEC, AMIN President Moy Edding is now contemplating of filing appropriate charges against those usurping authority and illegally claiming to be officers of AMIN, in the court of law. Prof Edding said that "it is high time that some people should be reminded of what the rule of law is all about. Perhaps they have already erased the concept of rule of law in their vocabulary. That's why they think that they can just transgress on anyone any time they want."

President Edding directs all AMIN members to disseminate this new information and openly expose the illegal existence of an organization claiming to be AMIN Party List, to all AMIN members, friends and supporters.

Indeed, Truth becomes known eventually. And this time it came with a COMELEC Certification. For as Shakespeare said in The Merchant of Venice, "But at the length truth will out."
