HATAMAN INKS MOA FOR COTABATO YOUTH CENTER

A two million worth Cotabato Youth Development Center will soon rise at Barangay Rosary Heights, Cotabato City.

A priority project of Anak Mindanao Representative Mujiv S. Hataman, the said solon personally flew to Cotabato City for the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement with the Local Government represented by Cotabato City Mayor Muslimin G. Sema, last June 13, 2008 at the People’s Palace. Also signatory to the said agreement is Rosary Heights Barangay Chairman Edwin F. Sero.

            The center shall serve as venue for youth activities such as meetings, seminars, conferences, forums and others. Complete with facilities and utilities, the said Center is also open to youth groups from all the 37 barangays of Cotabato City.

            Hataman, who is one of the youngest Congressmen in the House of Representatives, emphasized Anak Mindanao’s commitment to the cause of the youth, not just in terms of infrastructure projects but more essentially in terms of policies and legislations that shall seek to protect and promote their rights.
