Manages and supervises the area-based community development work of the institution and the daily operation at the office. | | June 2002 – December 2002 | Deputy Executive Director Balay Mindanaw Foundation Inc. Concurrent Program Manager of its flagship program called “Helping Build Sustainable, Empowered and Peaceful Indigenous Peoples’ Communities in Northern Mindanaw”. The program focus is on sustainable integrated area development with strong emphasis in participatory development planning, monitoring and evaluation as an integral input toward empowering the partner communities. The three-year P25 M program is co-funded by FORD Foundation, Christian aid, and Ireland Aid. Also manages other SIAD Projects funded by Luthetran World Relief (LWR), German Technical Cooperation Project (GTZ) and the German Development Services (DED). | | August 199- June 2001 | Program Manager Consortium for the Advancement of Peoples’ Participation-Sustainable Integrated Area Development (CAPP-SIAD) Program under the Christian Aid-European Union (CA-EU) fund assistance. A three year program worth 10.5 million pesos covering ten (10) barangays in Northern and Northeastern Mindanao under BMFI’s major program entitled “Helping Build Empowered Sustainable Communities in Mindanao”. | | August 2002 – March 2003 | Program Manager Enhancing Barangay Governance for Poverty Reduction A project of the Canadian International Development Agency – Local Government Support Program (CIDA-LGSP) in Region 10 covering eight (municipalities of Misamis Oriental. The eight month project is capacity-building program for Local Government Units (LGUs) on participatory development planning, monitoring and evaluation. | | Jan 1998 – March 2000 | Program Manager of Networking, Coalition Building and Advocacy (NCBA) Program Balay Mindanaw Foundation Inc. The program is responsible for the popularization of development advocacy agenda of the foundation. Among them, agrarian reform (the Mapalad Struggle), peace building and structural reform. The program also provides leadership and technical assistance to major coalitions in Mindanao namely Mindanao Congress of Development NGO’s (MinCON), Mindanao Peace Advocates Conference (MPAC) and KOSUG-Mindanaw. | May 1992 – Dec 1997 | Program Manager of Tripartite Program for Agrarian Reform and Rural Development (TriPARRD) Philippine Partnership for the Development of Human Resources in Rural Areas (PHILDHRRA-Mindanao) A five year program funded by BILANCE of Netherlands.
