Message to DepEd Mindanao |
We from Anak-Mindanao Party-List recognize the need of support of our Philippine education especially in Mindanao. The glaring lack of school buildings, teachers, books, and instructional materials affected the performance of Mindanao students and pupils in assessment examinations. Thus, it is not surprising that every time the government releases the results, majority of those below in the list are regions from Mindanao.
This challenges our party to categorize education as one of the priority areas to be supported. Our party envisions Mindanao students who are critical, possessed with the necessary skills and knowledge to answer the country’s needs. These instructional materials are just part of our unwavering commitment to uplift the quality of education in Mindanao. We challenge our pupils and students who avail of these materials to maximize its use as learning tools in their studies. The necessity of taking care and helping maintain these materials rests also on the users’ shoulders in order for them to a longer life span. We also challenge our school teachers, school administrators, and local school boards to help us achieve quality education in Mindanao.
